Okay, news. I just had an interview for a summer job clerking at the Los Angeles Superior Court (state trial court and whatnot). At the end of the interview, the lady offered me the position! So I have a job option for the summer and we love it. I'll accept this offer, most probably, so basically that means I'm BACK IN L.A. for the summer!

AARRRGGHHH!!! It's 6:31am... and I'm still in my apartment. My flight to L.A. was scheduled to leave at 6:15am.
Basically, I missed my flight. I just slept through it.
I feel like SUCH an idiot. This SUCKS. I just called Spirit, and I was able to get on the next flight out, being at 3:59pm today... I reach L.A. tonight at 9pm (as opposed to my previously scheduled arrival at noon). It's not so bad, as far as mistakes go, but I had to pay $130 more to get that change, and this all SUCKS because a big reason I was going to L.A. was because I got a cheap ticket and now I just feel like and idiot.
I HATE this... I can't believe I just slept through it.

I'm goin' to L.A., I'm goin' to L.A....
We love it. My spring break officially started today, and I doubt that I have ever wanted or needed a spring break this much in my life. Tomorrow, I'm flying off to L.A. (with a 1 hour stop-off in Detroit!), and I'll be there just in time for lunch with my friend Julie. I can't wait to just relax (and study, but mostly relax). I also can't wait to see as many people as possible. I'm renting a car, so travel all around Southern Cali is so possible. I just want to make sure I'm chillin' atleast as much as I'm drivin' (and hopefully more...). I remember my last trip to Cali... a nice road trip no question... but I didn't stop driving... I drove from Ohio to L.A., then to San Diego, then back up to L.A., then to the Bay area, then to Napa, then down to Santa Cruz (NANCY!), then down to Santa Barbara, and then back to L.A. for the long drive back to Ohio. Craziness, basically. This time, I just want to relax... just have some bubble tea in the sun (even though it's only going to be in the upper 50's) and not have to worry about getting to my next place. Julie and Mikki are definitely seeing to my housing, and I love them for it. I just have to be the super-guest.
Speaking of guests, is it possible to be a guest and not be a cause of imminent stress? I mean, I LOVE having people over to my apartment, no question, but there's always an element of stress hidden in there somewhere. The last thing I want to be is the imposing guy...
SO MUCH FUN! All you Cali people... CALL ME! I'm gonna be there from March 15-22! You've got my number (i.e. my hotline), right?

Don't you hate when you are sitting down all day, doing work... and then at the end of the day, you look back and realize that you've done a lot of nothing? Bleh.
It's alright, though. I've been working on this brief for what seems like forever, and I'll finish it tonight. And then I'll do my laundry. And then I'll be happy.
Speaking of happy, I totally played the role of the alcoholic this weekend. It was fun, but now it's over... I'm not an alcoholic anymore. So those of you who were planning interventions, don't worry about it.
